The Pollinators

The Pollinators was founded in 2016 to help insects and other pollinators in the Netherlands as their populations have been declining more and more over the decades. They try to do so by engaging local communities, organisations and farmers and motivating them to enrich the landscape with flowers, shrubs and trees that pollinators need. They not only do so by planting trees, sowing seeds and creating insect hotels, but also by increasing local awareness on the importance of biodiversity. This way, The Pollinators hope to create a movement that will change the tide and that can help to bring back the insects and pollinators that we all need.
