My Forest Armenia

My Forest Armenia is fully committed to creating durable forests with strong ecosystems and rich biodiversity in Armenia.

The non-profit organisation has planted, as of the end of 2024, 2.3 million trees, thus creating 750 ha of new forest and aims to plant between 600.000 to 900.0000 trees, representing between 200 and 300 hectares of new forest every year. By empowering local communities, under the direction of scientists and expert foresters, their mission is to sustainably increase forest coverage, thus decreasing carbon in the atmosphere, combating soil erosion and desertification; and preserving biodiversity using numerous endemic tree species.

Life Terra and My Forest Armenia have recently established a collaboration and funded the planting of 3,000 trees. Both organisations are actively sharing knowledge and methodologies to implement ecological restoration strategies and expand their reach.
