Municipality of Toulouse

The Municipality of Toulouse has been a valued partner in our reforestation efforts, working with us on innovative projects such as Miyawaki forests. In January 2024, we planted the first Miyawaki forest in the heart of the city, in the green area of Argoulets, in collaboration with the City Hall of Toulouse, ASES, and ClimatePartner. This urban mini-forest, consisting of several thousand trees and shrubs, aligns with the municipality's ambitious "100,000 trees" initiative, aimed at creating green spaces by and for its citizens by 2030.

The local community played a key role in this initiative, with families and individuals of all ages invited to actively participate in planting the trees themselves. This project beautifully combines climate action with environmental education, reinforcing the importance of collective efforts in building greener, more sustainable urban environments.

Our partnership with Toulouse continues to demonstrate the power of collaboration between public actors and citizens, ensuring a lasting impact for generations to come.
