Fundación Biodiversidad
Fundación Biodiversidad is a Foundation created in 1998, today part of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge in Spain. They are supported by a large group of expert collaborators in different fields that contribute to the successful execution of environmental and biodiversity projects.
For more than 20 years, Fundación Biodiversidad has been executing projects and managing calls for grants and has allocated more than 231 million euros to support 1,900 conservation projects, in collaboration with more than 1,000 entities.
Together with Fundación Biodiversidad and WWF Spain’s branch, Life Terra helped to plant the first thousand trees in 4 locations in Castilla and Leon. All trees were individually geolocalised with Life Terra’s tagging technology and are available to the organisations in their respective dashboards to monitor progress. We hope to extend this collaboration in the coming years with many other tree planting events across Spain and beyond.
