C&A
C&A is a European chain of fast-fashion retail clothing stores. Their first store was opened in 1860, so the company has a long history of clothing for generations of consumers. C&A’s commitment is to provide inspiring, sustainable fashion for the entire family at the best quality and at a fair price. The company has a strong sustainability strategy including bio cotton, recycled and recyclable materials, or Cradle to Cradle Certified™ fabric.
As part of C&A's sustainability strategy and to commemorate its 30th birthday in Portugal, the fashion retailer planted trees with Life Terra to create a new forest close to Lisbon. Also, in Spain, the company opened a brand new store in Vigo and celebrated this with a local plantation there. C&A invited its customers, employees, and business partners and involved them in local climate action.
