Scaling Super-Heero: Growing a Greener, More Efficient Future

Building on the success of the original SUPER-HEERO project, which introduced innovative financing to boost energy efficiency in supermarkets, Scaling Super-Heero is an ambitious expansion aimed at creating sustainable and energy-efficient spaces. Firstly the project will focus on transforming supermarkets with solar panels, batteries, and other eco-friendly upgrades, secondly, it will now set its sights on schools, shopping centres, commercial retailers, and community spaces. These additional spaces provide greater opportunity for sustainability efforts, engaging a wider range of citizens in energy savings while creating environmental and social impact.

As a key participant, Life Terra brings a natural element to this high-energy project, we will organize tree-planting campaigns in three pilot projects, adding a lasting, visible layer of environmental impact to the initiative. Two of these planting projects will involve schools, inviting young people to learn firsthand about nature’s role in urban sustainability. The third campaign will offer an engaging, hands-on teambuilding activity, allowing local teams to participate in making their urban environments greener and healthier.

Through its role in Scaling Super-Heero, Life Terra will also help create an actionable impact framework for the region, using tree planting as a direct, tangible way to contribute to environmental goals and local well-being. This approach ensures that sustainability is felt by residents and participants alike, strengthening the connection between energy savings and green spaces.
