Monitoring Update: Arroyo de Vallejo Planting in Quijorna with Adyen Madrid

We're pleased to share an update on the tree-planting event we held with the Adyen Madrid team at Arroyo de Vallejo in Quijorna on March 15, 2023. During this event, over 20 members of the Adyen team came together to plant and water 158 trees and bushes along the banks of the Vallejo stream, a former rubble dump that is being rehabilitated into a periurban park for local residents.

On May 10th, before the summer heat, we conducted a monitoring visit to check on the progress of the planting. We’re happy to report that the trees are thriving, and it’s great to see that the municipality has installed an irrigation system to support their survival through the dry months.

The transformation of this area is progressing, and we’ll continue to monitor the growth of the trees as they help restore this valuable green space. A big thank you to Adyen for their continued support and enthusiasm—let's keep planting together!
