Monitoring trees in Kanaalpark with the Den Bosch Municipality

On the 31st of August 2022, Life Terra went back to Kanaalpark together with the ecologist from the Den Bosch Municipality to check on the trees that were planted with Laagsteprijsgarantie.

We used the Citizen Monitoring tool that we are testing this summer to see how the survival rate was and how much the trees have grown. Despite the drought and heat of the summer, most trees are thriving. We even saw signs of some natural regeneration with species coming up we didn't plant ourselves!

Although the Ash trees were not doing so well, the overall survival rate was about 90% which is something we are quite happy to see!
