Life Terra participated in Planting4Future conference

Yesterday, Life Terra participated in the second edition of the Planting4Future Conference. Life Terra's secretary Sven Kallen moderated the first Working group that focused on how to obtain better data on plantations, on how to find more available land, motivation of key planting actors to register the trees correctly and how to ensure that only additional trees are counted. A very lively discussion was held with all participants and policy recommendations were formulated.

The Planting4Future initiative brings together Europe's biggest trees planting initiatives and tree specialists as well as policymakers. Its goal is to coordinate and improve the efforts to reach the European Commission's ambitious goals of getting 3 billion additional trees planted by 2030.
