EUTPD: Kickoff in las Rozas, a tradition in the making!

Last weekend, Life Terra joined hands with the municipality of Las Rozas for an unforgettable event as part of the European Tree Planting Day initiative. It wasn’t just a tree planting day – it was a family reunion for the care of nature, where neighbours came together to actively protect and nurture the green spaces of their beloved town. Over 2,000 people of all ages joined forces, from families with little ones to volunteers, all united by one goal: to help conserve, maintain, and expand the natural beauty of Las Rozas.

Throughout the day, participants planted trees from native species, enriching the local environment with every new sapling. The event also had a festive spirit, with performances by students from the municipal Music and Dance schools, adding music and art to this meaningful cause. And that’s not all – the day was full of surprises, making it a celebration not only of nature but also of the vibrant community that Las Rozas embodies.

This collaboration with Las Rozas reflects our shared vision of fostering a greener future. We hope this partnership grows into a lasting tradition, inspiring more cities and towns across Europe to follow this powerful example of climate action.
