Demo week 2022 Netherlands: ADRA

Another planting during our demo week in The Netherlands, this time with ADRA!

ADRA is the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) and serves in more than 118 countries through local offices and partners to fight poverty and create sustainable change.

The ADRA team came, despite the bad weather predictions, with a diverse group of volunteers to plant trees on the third day of the demoweek. The youngest of the group was 11 while the oldest was 86, it was wonderful to see that everyone can plant trees and contribute to climate action! We planted a large amount of trees in the first 1.5 hours, after which it started to rain really hard.

Luckily ADRA brought beautiful cupcakes for the event, so everyone could warm up with a hot drink and a cupcake while listening to some talks about why trees are important!
