Citizen planting in Las Rozas, Madrid

Last Saturday, October 23, Life Terra organised one of its biggest planting events with citizens in Las Rozas (Madrid), in collaboration with the City Council of Las Rozas and Volterra Ecosystems. 

More than 3,500 people joined where each participant had the opportunity to plant a tree next to their family and friends. Together we planted more than 4,000 native trees and shrubs, such as holm oaks, portuguese oaks, maritime pines, common hawthorns and strawberry trees. Without a doubt, we enjoyed a magnificent day in the natural area of "El Lazarejo". 

A big thank you to all the participants and the City Council of Las Rozas to make it happen. Las Rozas is now a little greener!
