Biochar at scale is finally coming to Spain!

This summer Life Terra's founder Sven Kallen is visiting several tree planting sites in north western Spain to monitor results. Taking advantage of this trip we were privileged to get a sneak peak at Carbón Emergente's new factory set up in Cantabria. This fully automated biochar production is aimed at giving a boost to forest & agro waste streams in the region. Great opportunity to bring circular principles into practice and apply the end product to enhance soil structure and water retention capacity.

We'll for sure be able to add value to our plantings by introducing activated biochar below our seedlings, stay tuned!
