500 Trees in Santa Cruz for a Biodiversity Boost

Algarve is a beautiful region in South Portugal but it is increasingly suffering from long periods of drought.

Last March, Life Terra was happy to partner with the owners of the beautiful "Monte dos tres Moinhos" property in Santa Cruz. With a total of 10 local volunteers around 500 trees, bushes and herbs were planted of many different species to create a new food forest and give a boost to local biodiversity.

It was so special to spend some time in the field planting trees under the watchful eyes of breeding storks!
