Asociación de educación ambiental y del consumidor (Adeac) - Programa Ecoescuelas
ADEAC is a non-profit association founded on April 25, 1984, by members of the Environmental Education Committee of the Council of Europe, including José Ramón Sánchez Moto. In Spain, ADEAC oversees international environmental programs like Blue Flag, Eco-Schools, and Green Key, as well as local initiatives such as Blue Trails and Blue Centers. Its core focus is education, which ADEAC views as the key to advancing environmental protection and sustainability for both the planet and its people.
The goal of this collaboration is to inspire and support the teaching teams of the National Network of Eco-Schools in organizing tree planting activities that actively involve the entire educational community—students, teachers, families, and more—within the framework of European Tree Planting Day.
We aim to encourage the educational community to take meaningful, local action in the fight against the climate crisis through tree planting. By coming together in a participatory way, we can create a positive impact while fostering environmental awareness and responsibility.
Our objective is to have as many schools from the National Eco-Schools Network as possible participate in these planting activities. To ensure the success of the initiative, we are targeting the involvement of at least 10 Eco-Schools.
