Plant Trees. Grow Forests. Restore Earth.

Stiftung Ehreshoven

Stiftung Ehreshoven is located in Engelskirchen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany and is part of the Agriculture & Forestry Sector Industry. It is the owner of an estate with 1.500+ ha of forest land that is managed sustainably. The current problems with bark beetle are affecting a lot of their spruce stands and the need for more resilient, mixed forests becomes more evident every day.

The first Life Terra-Stiftung Ehreshoven Klimawald of 25.000 trees is under development in Germany. Close to Cologne we are planting 20+ resilient species of Southern European provenance versus local autochtonous variaties. The trees will be closely tracked through Life Terra’s monitoring technology. We will measure survivability and growth rates, biodiversity impact and overall climate resiliency.
